Speaker Series: Paulina Jaramillo

The graduate student engineers turned up en masse for this event! It was great to see everyone taking copious notes during the talk, and I learned A LOT from their questions. Professor Jaramillo shared some really interesting information... I may need to add a resilient infrastructure class to my schedule before I graduate. 😉 Thanks to all who came out and I hope you’ll join us for our next Speaker Series event next Thursday, on FEMA’s response in Puerto Rico after Maria!

Also, a big thanks to Heinz College, the CMU Division of Student Affairs, the Student Activities Committee, the Student Senate, and the Graduate Student Assembly for their financial support of our Speaker Series! And thanks to the College of Engineering and the Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy for their help with advertising!
